Terrific! I got a call from Officer Morrison today as well. He agreed with me that the City Council sort of created a monster with the new noise ordinance, and he has met directly with one of the bar owners.
I’ve also gotten replies from a few City Council people after I fired off a couple of emails on Sunday. Jonathan Melton wrote and said he’s trying to get a meeting with Bowstring’s owners. One of Corey Branch’s staff wrote and said their policies have to be data-driven, and that our noise complaint calls are contributing to their attempts to come up with a solution.
So, progress is being made, I think.
