Interesting. I wish I’d made it to that meeting. I’ve actually emailed City Council four times about Bowstring since August, twice to the group as a whole and twice directly to Corey Branch. I’m glad he understands the issue and is encouraging us to keep the pressure up. They need to take decisive action soon.

Corey Branch (our Dist. C city council rep) was at the most recent CAC meeting Monday evening and was very responsive to our request for help with the noise problem. He said that the meeting on Monday was the first time he had heard of it being a problem from the Bowstring establishment. He was sympathetic to our problem and recommended the same tactics that we are already employing. He told us we are not the only neighborhood having objection to the new noise ordinance. It sounds like they are aware that it is a problem that City Council needs to address soon.

This is fair. Please include an invite to BPW-Action for anyone who would like to discuss further.

Hey, Mark.

I appreciate your not wanting to clog up the main listserv. I would request that once this smaller group comes up with a list of things we are pursuing, you would allow us to post an update to the main listserv summarizing our plans and inviting others to join us as they like. Would you be open to that?

Thanks for the update, Eric.

I would prefer all Bowstring discussions take place here rather than the
mail email list for the time being.
