Hi all.I took a stab at drafting a response to Megan’s email. Feel free to use it or not, or edit it to sound more like yourselves. Krista - I kept your final sentence, because your good question still stands.AmyMegan,Thank you for your quick response to my email.I appreciate the effort that Bowstring’s management has made in making noise dampening improvements to their property, but with respect, the effort hasn’t been successful. The noise coming from their property is still extremely loud. I can still hear their music inside my home, as I did on Saturday evening, Nov. 16. You mention that RPD determined Bowstring isn’t responsible, but I understand from a neighbor that an RPD officer cited Bowstring again last night for a noise violation. So, this matter still is unresolved. Please advise on what will finally end this regular nuisance for us or what you need from us to move in that direction. On Sun, Nov 17, 2024 at 3:48 PM Eric Hill via BPW-Action <bpw-action@eastraleigh.org> wrote:I got that same email last night. I was told by an officer that they cited them again last night. It 100% is bowstring and Megan doesn’t know what she’s talking about. I haven’t figured out what to write back yet.On Nov 17, 2024, at 11:21 AM, Lauren Markley via BPW-Action <bpw-action@eastraleigh.org> wrote:I simply don’t believe that it’s not Bowstring. I wasn’t home, but it looks like they had live music from 4-7pm yesterday according to their Instagram. Whatever ‘sound dampening’ things they’ve done aren’t working. And who else could it be?_______________________________________________Lauren_______________________________________________Sent from my iPhoneOn Nov 17, 2024, at 9:54 AM, Krista Padgett via BPW-Action <bpw-action@eastraleigh.org> wrote:Lauren and others, what details can anyone provide that would help me answer this email below (response to my email to council members) which sounds totally counter to our understanding of the situation?Krista

Subject: Re: Noise from Bowstring_______________________________________________Hi Krista,
I’m verry sorry for the noise. I know it is frustrating.
It is my understanding that RPD recently met with the manager at Bowstring, who has made a number of improvements to the outdoor space to dampen the sound. I believe they are triangulated the days and the specific noise folks were hearing and were able to determine that it isn’t Bowstring. So RPD are attempting to determine who is responsible for the sound.
I’ll keep you posted! Sorry again for the trouble!
Best Regards,
Megan
