I called tonight as well and also spoke to Officer Gourley. He told me the same thing, that everyone up the chain of command is aware of the problem and want it all documented. He also said the bar is owned by a bunch of lawyers, and that might be compounding the problem. This is the first situation of its kind the police have dealt with (not sure if he meant since the new noise ordinance or not), so it’s taking time to figure out.

Please keep calling it in! Every bit helps, and eventually these guys could lose whatever permit they have. I’m also thinking of writing back to Corey Branch, just to keep it on his radar.

Cheers,
Lauren

I spoke to an officer tonight who said he was at the corner of Tivoli & Fenton making his own video recording for proof.  He said Bowstring will be cited again tonight (at a higher fine).

However, it seems to me that the fact that the owners are continuing to play excessively loud music after already being warned by police, and cited by police, leaves the impression the owners don't care about the police, the laws, being fined, or about the trouble they are causing for neighboring residents

We called at 918. We saw RPD driving down Fenton around the same time. It’s still so loud!!

I also could hear it inside my house (for the first time). Previously I could only hear it in my backyard.

This time I could actually hear every word the band was saying to the audience while sitting on my couch with the TV on.  But now it seems to have completely stopped, even outside.
