If it is true, they were dismissed because Bowstring showed that they were taking steps (lame, ineffective sound-proofing) to mitigate the noise. Apparently bars get a chance to contest the citations, I have never been able to get anyone to clarify the process around how or by whom they get upheld or dismissed. What this tells me is that we need to demand transparency and clarification around this process from City Council. They need to understand that their noise ordinance offers no disincentive at all to keep bars from violating it. I know we’re all really busy, but it would be super helpful if everyone called/emailed City Council again and the mayor about this to get answers! Thank you!!
