I simply don’t believe that it’s not Bowstring. I wasn’t home, but it looks like they had live music from 4-7pm yesterday according to their Instagram. Whatever ‘sound dampening’ things they’ve done aren’t working. And who else could it be?

Lauren and others, what details can anyone provide that would help me answer this email below (response to my email to council members) which sounds totally counter to our understanding of the situation?

Hi Krista,

I’m verry sorry for the noise. I know it is frustrating.

It is my understanding that RPD recently met with the manager at Bowstring, who has made a number of improvements to the outdoor space to dampen the sound. I believe they are triangulated the days and the specific noise folks were hearing and were able to determine that it isn’t Bowstring. So RPD are attempting to determine who is responsible for the sound.

I’ll keep you posted! Sorry again for the trouble!

Best Regards,
Megan

I am writing to plead for your help to end the regular noise violations coming from Bowstring Brewyard. From my understanding of the recently adopted noise ordinance, I live 12 times further away than allowable distance and yet every time Bowstring has live music, I am able to hear it inside my home with the doors and windows closed. My neighbors and I have made so many reports to the RPD and non-emergency dispatch number that we are easily recognized by those who answer the phones.

Please advise on what will finally end this regularly nuisance for us or what you need from us to move in that direction.
