Wow that is so disappointing. I hope that was just this officer and doesn’t mean that RPD generally has totally decided to let it go. I was fine with the music yesterday afternoon. It was tolerable. But it was too loud last night to watch tv or read. I just can’t get over they opened as a pizza and beer place. What a bait and switch.

For the record I called 911 and city council last night too.

He said that he couldn’t hear the music in his car at the intersection ( I think that means the front of bowstring, so… duh. ) he said he went down and talked to the manager and said that they’d put up some walls and were doing their best with the sound. Said there were kids playing around and stuff - assured me they weren’t up to anything nefarious over there and they had a hard cut off at 9:30 so he wasn’t going to do anything about it. I said thanks for checking it out but whatever they’re doing to fix their noise issue isn’t doing anything as it’s the exact same as it was last year. That was it. Then I called and left a message with city council and wrote an email to Lt Morrison ( the officer helping with the letters to bowstring). We’ll see if anything comes of it.

Eric what did he say? I was just told by 911 via text that it’s very low priority.

I just hung up from yet another call to 911. This is getting to be a daily issue, ridiculous!

See attached. You can just text 911. I called it in at 8:36 and no one has still shown up

I just called dispatch and was told that the officer was “still on the call” and she’d get him back out there. Admittedly I don’t know what that means. She did say all our calls are linked together

I just called a second time. An officer went out earlier and was completely useless.

Yes it’s still going. If you could call the police, Sarah, that would be helpful.

Is that still bowstring? I’m on Banks st. Sounds like they are right outside my house.

I also recommend calling City Council and leaving a voicemail for them. They need to hear directly from us. I left one yesterday but am not home today. Here’s their number:

I just called 911 about today's band. Can someone remind me whether we are supposed to call 911 or some other number?

I called it into the regular dispatch line and also left a message with Lt. Borneo. Thanks for sharing. I was hoping they'd maybe made some changes over there and we'd have a different situation this spring/summer...

Y’all hearing this Doors tribute band garbage? Please call 911 if you can hear it! It’s sooooo loud! We’d had a few weeks of peace, but now this. Ugh.

Also, please call Lt. Jason Borneo directly at +1 (919) 996-1581.

Thank you!
