Hi all,
On the bowstring website, it looks like they're having 3 people/bands
playing reggae music, which is usually pretty chill.
I don't see anyone listed for tomorrow night. Please correct me if I
somehow got the wrong info. Are the bowstring people aware of the nights
they're giving us the survey?
Thanks,
Ashlyn

Lauren and I talked to the sound engineer this
afternoon. We are going to
get a link to a survey about what we experience from Bowstring tonight and
tomorrow night. If everyone can please spend a little time being around
after 5:30 on both nights, that would help you fill out the survey. They
will be asking for information about what you hear both from outside of
your houses as well as inside your houses.
Does anyone on here live near Timber and Barksdale or Timber and
Banks? They are looking for a location to set up a monitoring device. If so,
please text me off-line 919-961-6549.
Krista.

That’s great, Denis. I spoke with Sherita Walton a few months back
about one of
the citations they received and signed an affidavit they drew
up to use in response to Bowstring’s appeal. Not sure of the status of that
case, but with the latest citation, your input will be valuable.

I have also followed up with Corey Branch’s office about how we will
be moving forward. Will let you know what I hear back.

They’ll be collecting data at a few locations and are also hoping neighbors
will be willing to answer a survey about our experiences during the data
collection days. I guess Bowstring will be having their last big shows this
weekend.

everyone the heads-up. I believe any input would be very useful for them
and for the city with determining what Bowstring’s permits will look like
going forward.
