night. We'll be discussing organizational matters, our upcoming ACE

Bob, thanks a million for hosting our event on Saturday! I hope that we
were able to raise awareness among people about the importance being
prepared. Thank you for all you did for us.
Thanks also to the fantastic Central Raleigh CERT for helping with the
event! We had a good showing.
Don brought some of my stuff to me -- and I have Samantha's display board.
Does someone have the green CERT tablecloth? I need that back so I can get
it to Samantha along with her display board.
Also, I am hoping someone grabbed both of my little acrylic sign holders so
I can use those for other things.

Hi, all. Just a quick rundown on tomorrow's event at Seaboard Ace Hardware.
I don't think it will take us long to set up, so I'm planning to get there
around 9:30 or so. I'm bringing the Krispy Kremes!
1. I have produced posters, door prize slips and sign-up sheets for the
event. Dave is bringing Samantha's CERT tablecloth, the posters, a tripod,
and my box of brochures with him. If others have brochures, you may want to
bring them along.
2. I've given Don the Door Prize sign, prize registration forms, and
sign-up sheets for people who want to learn more about CERT. He will bring
those. I'll try to remember some pencils and pens for the sign up sheets
and door prize registration -- Don, can you bring along a few, too, in case
I forget?
3. Samantha is bringing her stuff!!
4. Bob has tables, our sample home disaster kit and supplies! The water
people will be there, too.
I think we are covered the entire time, incl set up and breakdown. THANK
YOU to everyone who is helping with this, especially to Bob for hosting.
This is a tremendous community service. Central Raleigh CERT members:
Please wear your CERT vest (hat optional) so people know who we are and
will approach us for info.

Kim,I'm recovering nicely though very slowly from my shoulder surgery. I plan to be there Saturday but for one shift, not both as I had previously intended. You tell me which one you want to assign me to. Thanks,Hugh

1. The event is 10a - 2p. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF AND WHEN YOU CAN BE THERE.
2. We will have tables displaying CERT brochures and items to build home disaster kits, and places to register for the door prize (a free disaster kit) and to sign up for more CERT info. If you can work that day, please plan to wear your CERT vest (hard hat optional) so people will know who we are.
3. We have posters for the event, and bookmark sized handouts that Bob is using as bag stuffers this week to advertise with customers. IF YOU ARE WILLING TO TAKE BOOKMARKS TO BUSINESSES AND OTHER PLACES (i.e., Yellow Dog, libraries, etc.) AND ASK IF THEY WILL DISPLAY THEM, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
4. Bob is promoting the event at his store, on the radio and through his web site/FB. I have done a news release that will go out tomorrow. We are promoting through Nextdoor and Mordecai CAC social media. PLEASE PUT THIS INFO ON ANY OF YOUR OWN SITES TO HELP PROMOTE.
