Greetings Central Raleigh CERT Team!
We know that community preparedness and resiliency are a part of your mission and we would like to invite your CERT Team to partner with the American Red Cross to Sound the Alarm. On Saturday, May 5 in Raleigh, we are inviting your team to join us to install free smoke alarms and educate homeowners on fire safety tips. On average, seven people die every day from a home fire, but your team can help protect families against these tragedies by joining the campaign in Raleigh. I know this is not in your county but we have hosted smaller events in your backyard and plan to return in the future for more events. We would love to partner with your group to make homes safer so please take a moment to review the information and reach out with questions!
This will be a rain or shine event so make sure to be prepared for spring showers. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, in addition to Red Cross Sound the Alarm T-shirts for all volunteers! You will find event information below and in the attached flyer. We encourage your team to wear their branded t-shirts for the community to see.
