Hi, Dave. Thanks! If you can give an outline of what we do, that would be
great. We don't need a lot of detail -- just a briefing on who we are and
why we exist and the training we've gone through and what we would do if a
disaster hit our neighborhood. I do not have any pictures or anything other
than materials I have already developed for our events, and I do not really
have time to pull anything else together right now. I have a lot of things
between now and Tues nite!
Thanks, Kim

Kim et al:
I was not planning to attend because I work late (until8PM) on Tuesdays -
but my last patient has cancelled. I could get there around 7:30PM but
would
not be in my CERT gear (I'd be coming straight from work). I could talk to
the group about what is CERT, and some simple pointers about Home Emergency
Kits - I believe we maybe have 10 mins. If others could be there in their
CERT gear that might be good.
Kim, since I believe you were the IC for this event; do you have any pics,
or materials other than brochures ?
Does this sound ok, or should Don or someone else to the presentation???

I don't mind in the least doing it, but (as far as I know now) I have a
previous obligation. My daughter-in-law is out of town on business and the
legislature is in session so my son is probably working. (Aren't they a
sight?!?) He has told me that he is trying to make other arrangements, but
won't know until late Monday night.
So, all I can offer right now is "A Conditional Maybe."
I know the CAC will take some time off, but - if I don't do it Tuesday- I
don't mind doing it another time.

Hi, all. Who is planning to present about our CERT group on Tues at
Mordecai CAC?
I am not willing to do it, b/c they've been listening to me
for four years and are tired of that!
I am happy to support the effort by being there, wearing my vest and
setting up a
table with my disaster kit supplies, plus supply the posters
and a million brochures for people. But I need someone to take the lead on
presenting. If no one from our team is able to do this, I'm going to ask
that we be removed from this month's agenda.
The meeting is Tuesday at 7:30p at Mordecai Historic Park Visitors
Center,
1101 Wake Forest Road.
Thanks, Kim
