Hi, everyone. Pam had a great idea that we try to do some educational events in June for Pet Preparedness Month, so I dropped off a memo at Pet Supplies Plus yesterday asking if we could have a table on a weekend day in June at their store. I attached a FEMA brochure (Preparing Your Pets for Emergencies) that we would hand out that day, along with having displays of home disaster kits and our other brochures. I hope they say yes! We may want to approach some other pet places, as well.

I'm attaching the memo I wrote. I also found some cool graphics online at FEMA that we can use to make posters and flyers. (See below.) I have ordered 300 brochures from FEMA (I only had about 25 of the pet brochures in my stash.)
