Good morning,
Any recs for local nurseries with dwarf citrus trees, if any?
Due to canker no trees from Florida can leave the state, so that requires expensive shipping rates ($20 for one tiny tree) from California nurseries to NC.
Much appreciated, Vanessa

About a year ago I e-mailed to ask about bat houses. As usual I have not
built nor bought one. But also as usual I have not forgotten about them.
I spent some time collecting resources of information, most of which was
shared with me by some of you, and I am happy to pass it on to any one of
you who also wishes to obtain a bat house.

Let me know if you have trouble viewing the document. Two of the links in
it will not work for you. But they would not be of any interest to you
anyway. They're for my organization
Incidentally Whole Foods in North Raleigh (
http://wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/northraleigh) is selling bat houses for
around $40. Considering materials and time I do not think that I can make
one for less. (However if you have one for sale for less please let me
know...)
Even if you do not desire to install a bat house a lot of valuable
information can be found through that document. And bats are in need of
stewards.

ps - the same store is selling butterfly houses. If you're interested in
planting a garden that encourages butterfly and other pollinating insects
let me know. I might have other information on that as well.
