Consider Community & School Gardens! Dig In! is March 9 in Raleigh

Hi all, I wanted to share information about an upcoming event in Raleigh of great interest to the gardeners in our area: Advocates for Health in Action (AHA) will host Dig In! on Sat. March 9... this educational event is all about how we can transform communities across Wake County by incorporating more edible landscapes and gardens. There are workshops on starting community, school and child care gardens. 2 Magnolias and a dogwood.

I have 2 small --about a foot to 2 feet tall-- in my front yard that need moving. The biggest one is under the maple tree and will need a sharp shovel and a strong back to dig it up. I also have a dogwood that needs a home but it is in a pot ready to go. It was in a spot where it ended up growing kind of crooked, but I like that look. If you do too, you are welcome to it.
