I'm working with my summer intern to develop methods of
studying home gardens and how people use them and why they
start them. My design firm, Community Food Lab, is interested
in learning about all parts of local food systems, and home
gardens are an important part of that. Laura, whose message is
below, will be around Belvidere Park during the next week or
so knocking on doors asking for survey participants. She'll
have a clipboard and a camera.

am Laura Miller and I am a graduate student at the
University of Michigan studying Public Health Nutrition.

summer I am interning with a local business,
