Howdy,
When I transplant seedlings they often seem "stuck" but inevitably gain leafy
growth in a few weeks.
I assume they're growing out-of-sight root systems since being freed from their wee
cribs.
With transplants' roots being so small and to prevent wasteful run-off,
I prefer foliar seaweed spray over watering nutrients directly into the soil to help boost
their initial leaf production.
Be patient and with all the rain and thunderstorms forecasted for the next few days,
I'm sure you'll witness measurable growth soon!
By the way, I think it's great to open our community dialogue to topics other than
crime or dire depressing news
and broaden positive conversations that benefit our neighborhoods' beautification
& spirit.
I've met so many folks when I'm working in my front yard garden, yet it's
unfortunate that I don't know most of their names…

Hi all - great new list!
I started many flower seeds in the usual plastic flats, and have
transplanted them in the ground. But probably due to some days of shaky
childhood as sprouts (not great light, and a cold spell), they seem stuck --
into their second week now, and staying small, healthy appearing, but not
growing. Any advice to give 'em a kick start? I've cared for the soil,
neighboring plants are doing great, and last year's did well - so I don't
think it's that.
