Anyone who doubts this only has to go take a look at the former Wake landfill site of Deponie Drive. It's now a verdant, rolling, lovely sea of green. God only knows what all is beneath it.

BTW, I built a 5-by5 compost bin, oh, 15 years ago, and it's still going strong. I've hardly taken anything out in all that time.
