Anybody else have a knock on the door this early evening from a tall black
man in blue jeans, plain white shirt and white shoes on? If I don't know
you, I don't answer the door so I don't know what this guy wanted. He
wasn't scared away by our massive dog trying to get him through the window.
He stayed on the porch for a while and eventually walked away north on
Marlborough while looking back. Anyone else?
I also called in shots fired last night at 12:10 a.m. I live at the
intersection of Millbank Street and Brighton Road in the Lockwood
subdivision off Raleigh Boulevard. To us it sounded like the shots were
coming from the northern edge of Raleigh North Apartments or the southern
edge of the Park Glen apartment complex; I gave as the approximate location
the dead ends of Downing or Burgundy. We also heard and saw fireworks in
our area, as well as subsequent volleys of what sounded like gunshots, with
some of the shots seeming to come from a moving vehicle.

The young man that resides on Locke has been in business quite a few years now and he usually sells near Enloe H/S and most of the chidren know him on Stevens, Milburnie Rds. He recently loss his mother (2011) and I hope he has not resorted to crime because he has a great business.

Any specific description would be helpful since there are a couple that work the area.
My daughter mentioned that there's an ice cream truck on Locke Lane by Enloe, Pringle's Snack Attack — it has polka dots.
I'd hate to bother a neighbor who is just driving thru the neighborhood on their way home.

Howdy,
Over the weekend somebody managed to siphon off over half a tank of fuel from our car. Bad news for the thief: it was diesel!
With today's price of gas, it comes as no surprise. Perhaps now is a good time to invest in a locking gas cap or two…
