That dude came by my house last week with a pad in his hand, black t-shirt, GE logo on it. I told him I already had an alarm system. He wanted to know why I didn't have a sign outside my house then. I said some kids stole it. "it looks like Marlborough is the cutoff. we are still districted for ligon and enloe." This is strange considering we are in the same 'node' 75.1: http://www.wcpss.net/school-directory/attendance-maps/536_E_POWELL_ES__2011… In fact it looks like assignment is now based by neighborhood and not node? I plugged in 2213 vs 2219 Rumson (neighbors) and discovered that's the line. The top of the hill on Rumson shifts to Lockwood and those addresses stay at Powell, but the woodcrest addresses on Rumson along with the homes on Barksdale are reassigned to Joyner as well despite being in the same node. Homes are listed by their subdivision under Property Description in real estate data account summary. Are nodes out now? Personally, I never click on links in the emails sent me by my supposed bank, utilities, etc. I always go to the site itself to pay my bills or check my balance. I just found out about it today also we are working very hard on this issue ECAC/RPD I too can empathize with those who have experienced their homes/vehicles being victimized by burgalry, I've been a victim of this also more than once so it takes community effort working together to stop this maddness. They told me that the couple (who just moved in a couple of weeks ago) are on their honeymoon and someone checking in on their house found it had been broken into. Unfortunately I don't know any more than that. I can't imagine how terrible it must be to get a call while on your honeymoon that your house has been broken into. Tricia

(Sept. 18, 2012) — Looking something fun to do this Saturday that the whole family can enjoy? If so, make plans to attend one of eight, free* outdoor events hosted or supported by the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission in celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Day. Interactive activities and demonstrations vary for each event, but all provide unique opportunities for participants of all ages and abilities to connect with nature and test their outdoors skills. A few of the activities include: * Fishing * Archery * Air rifle marksmanship * Cooking over an outdoor fire * Kayaking * Seeing live animals, like snakes, frogs, hawks, eagles and other birds of prey Check out our National Hunting and Fishing Day in NorthCarolina page for more details on each event, including a list of activities and demonstrations planned, times and directions. The Wildlife Commission celebrates National Hunting and Fishing Day annually on the fourth Saturday in September with generous assistance from conservation partners such as the N.C. Wildlife Federation, Wake County Wildlife Club, Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, the N.C .Bowhunters Association and many others. National Hunting and Fishing Day is a one-day example of the year-round efforts by the Wildlife Commission to educate and involve people in hunting,fishing and other wildlife-related activities.
