I would be interested in the yard sign, how do we get one A citizen who shirks his duty to contribute to the security of his community is little better than the criminal who threatens it.

Did you know that the Lockwood Community Watch had cute little yard signs? Well if you missed the order back in 2011 or are new to the neighborhood now is your chance to decorate the front yard!
Not sure if you are living in the Lockwood? A quick lookup of your property on iMaps will list what subdivision the lot was initially developed from way back when. I posted a map on the East CAC Nextdoor page too. Last time signs were ordered Lockwood received a matching grant from the CoR and each sign with ground stake cost about $7 in 2011.

Howdy,
This afternoon and again earlier this evening there was a group of 3-5 teens on bikes going thru Lockwood and brazenly stealing from neighbors' backyard. A couple folks caught them in the act and they fled, twice leaving bikes behind. One neighbor had two bikes stolen from her yard.
Please keep anything valuable locked up at all times. Today's attempts happened in broad daylight while families were at their homes.
Also, Wake County Sheriff has a bike registration page here:

> Some kids were found going through our shed in the backyard just now - both cars in the driveway, we were obviously home - pretty ballsy. My husband chased them out and one of the 5 left behind a nice bike- looks brand new. Considering what he caught them doing there's a good chance the bike was stolen. The kids dispersed running in several directions. All around the ages of 13-16 looked like. Who knows if they'll go wandering again today or not.

> The police have taken the bike left behind and said that it could be claimed at the Cabarrus station where they keep evidence, etc.
