Good evening all,
Hopefully you have had a blessed day, and now a restful evening. Just a few moments of you time. I have been a part of this community for the last five years. I have seen the activities and reported them and have heard of them. Some of you may have seen me over the years walking the Pitt bulls that I own and have raised. So far they have been well behaved, I raised them like my mother raised us, strong.
On Sat Aug 10 my little one and I cut the front yard and upon finishing the back, I went to take a small nap to awaken to the yelping of my little one, I called him to the deck only to notice that some heartless being entered my yard and removed a portion of my his tail. Of course I freaks out and runs to Banfield who wants 1300.00 to take his tail to a short distance(can't blame them , they are in business to provide service for profit), so we took the short way out, bandage, meds and come home. On Aug the 11 returned home to find my little one has been let out of his cage, his E-Collar removed and another portion of his tail missing(I guess he chewed that off) I am not sure how he got out of the cage after un-twisting and removing the wire. Back to the vet again. On Aug 13 I come home to find that he has take the wire of the cage again(a broken piece of clothes hanger) , took his e collar of and another portion of his tail gone.
Of course I call animal control to come and access the situation. The good news; this evening I arrive at home around 7:45 pm to find that the iron and wire cage five feet tall by four has the greater portion of the front cut out with I guess some wire cutters bent back so he can get out, his collar off again . The strange part is the cage is inside a storage house in the back yard, can be seen from the street, has been pulled from the back of the wall to the front door. I did not know my little one was so strong. Of course i call 911, and officer responds takes the report.
I say all this to say, this; I know the word will get around. I live in the 2300 block of Glascock, please please do not let me catch you in my yard. My Lord , my Family, my dogs I will give my life for. Neighbors watch out for your surroundings.
One last request; If you are the person(s) that provided assistance on July 4th in front of the school on Marlborough St, I will always be grateful to you. Be blessed always.
