Around noon today, a sharp-eyed neighbor spotted two young men on the
porch of a neighbor's house. This neighbor called 911 and police were
out in full force in minutes, but not in time to catch the suspects.
They had time to pile electronics behind the house but as far as I know
they escaped without any stolen items.
Neighbors believe the men were first posing as solicitors. Take special
note of strangers in your neighborhood. If you see anything unusual
please call it in and have RPD check it out.

police officer. But/please also/ post to the list, with as much detail
as possible about both appearance and behavior, as it's very helpful
when they return the following day to try a different story one street
over!
