Most of our neighborhood is in pretty bad shape, so I thought some folks might be interested in checking this out tomorrow.

Our home fared well by comparison to many (roof damage from the wind and some water damage inside), but I know even a little damage can be very expensive to repair.

If you or someone you know has uninsured or under-insured losses, NC
Emergency Management will be opening a DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER in
Raleigh at 0800 on Friday, 4-22-11.

The center will be located in the Alcohol Treatment Center, 3000
Falstaff Drive (Behind Wake Med.) There will be representatives of
various Federal, State and Non-Governmental Agencies on call to provide
information and assistance.

BEFORE YOU GO: Register with FEMA by calling 1-800-621-3362, or go to
FEMA.Gov and register on line.

Take positive identification with you.

Here's to a speedy recovery.

Chris Crew
State Hazard Mitigation Officer
NCEM
306 Elm Street.
