Unfortunately our bird friend passed away this evening. :( The adults on the playground said it looked like it had a broken leg because it wasn't able to walk/sit properly when they tried to catch it - so that could have contributed. It also probably had quite a scare from the kids at recess.

My daughter gave it lots of love this evening - so it ended it's life on a happy note. I buried it out back after I got in from my meeting tonight. :)
