In case anyone in our neighborhood is interested in joining the Longview
Gardens folks, or forming our own group(s) for regular walks. I love this
idea!

Hey all,
I think a great thing to do would be to have Walking Clubs that walk at
odd hours of the day. With more people (neighbors) out on the streets
there is probably going to be less crime. Not to mention that we'll get
some good exercise!
I'm currently unemployed and have the ability to walk just about any
time on any day. I'm going to start on the Stevens/Locke/Derby/Chatham
route and plan to try to do that every day - at least as much as I can.
If anyone wants to join me or to do the same in your part of the
neighborhood, do it! It would also be good to have several different
people/groups walking the same paths at different times of the day. More
coverage = less chance for a burglary to happen.
Like Officer Krysko said at the last CAC meeting, this time of year is
prime for the picking. So let's get out there and tell burglars "NO! Not
in our neighborhood!"
