All,
There was an incident on Burgundy st where shots were fired; no one was injured and
officers went door to door looking for potential victims and or suspects. I will keep you
posted if anything comes of it.

Yup, I called it in. Thought it came from the same area (I'm further down on Brighton
between King Charles and Millbank.)
I wasn't even sure it was gunshots since it was so rapid and so many and so loud. But
it wasn't fireworks and I couldn't think of anything else that it could be.
Never heard anything back from the officer who came to check it out, but I didn't ask
for a call back.

Dear Officer Kryskowiak,
Last evening I called 911 to report what sounded like unusually loud gun blasts somewhere
in the vicinity of Millbank Street between Brighton Road and Raleigh Boulevard. (I
don't remember exactly what time it was; somewhere around 9 p.m. perhaps?) Did the
officers who came out find anything? Did anyone else hear or see anything? It was quite
nerve-rattling, to say the least.
Thanks so much,
Sue Sturgis
