For those who may not have heard, there was a fire on Friday morning at  Eugene McClain&#39;s house (1209 Downing Rd.). I am told that it was caused by a heating pad that malfunctioned (or perhaps the outlet it was plugged into), and that Mr. McClain was fine but the house is in bad shape.<br>

<br>Feel free to post an update if you hear anything about Mr. McClain or his home. I&#39;d especially like to know if he is able to stay with family/friends and if there is anything he needs that neighbors might be able to donate.<br clear="all">
