I hope all is going well! We are having an event at Powell on Saturday March 23rd from 8:30-11:30am where we will be distributing trees to the Lockwood neighborhood families and Powell families. :) Our grade 4/5 Ecology elective wrote the proposal to the National Wildlife Foundation and the NWF is donating 100 trees to Powell. The Ecology students wanted to do this activity because they knew our neighborhood lost many great trees during the tornados...and this would replace where trees were destroyed. But they don't have to be missing a tree to get a free one. Anyone in the Lockwood neighborhood is eligible! I've attached a press release with more information...I was wondering if you wanted to send out this info via the Lockwood group so the neighborhood knows to come our school on Saturday, March 23rd from 8:30-11:30am if they would like a free tree? :) Whatcha' think?
