I am also concerned about the children walking to and from school who may
encounter a dog with such a history of aggression.

Just wanted to remind folks that Honey, the dog that
was loose today on
Rumson, is the same dog that's attacked at least six other dogs after
repeatedly getting out of the yard at 2263 Rumson. As someone who regularly
walks by there with my dogs (it's right around the corner from a greenway
entrance), I'm pretty freaked out by the situation. Honey is clearly
dog-aggressive and at minimum needs to be kept in a secure enclosure. What
can be done to make this happen? Are Raleigh's ordinances really this
non-protective, I wonder, or is there a problem with enforcement?

Nope.
I'm fact Honey was out again today around 5:30 pm. A man and several kids
along with a sedan were chasing her on Rumson, stopping traffic. They
finally caught her near the Greenway easement… Vanessa

Has anyone noticed Animal Control patrolling the neighborhood or being
more responsive since our SeeClickFix report?
