Hey All,
On a similar safety manner...if you know of any street lights that still need to be repaired, you can report them here: https://secure.progress-energy.com/sid/custservice/carbusiness/electric/streetlight/index.asp.
I just reported the one across from our house on Marlborough (in front of 1302).
Thanks!
Nicole
Neighbors,
I am not exactly sure what the City's policy regarding the tornado-related debris placed on the sidewalk is, but it is making Powell Elementary students' walk to school downright treacherous.
If parking a vehicle on the sidewalk is illegal…
The debris is piled on the sidewalks along Marlborough and N King Charles, forcing students to walk in the middle of 35 mph streets.
Is there any way this area can be made a clean-up priority considering the number of student walkers that must take to the street in order to get to school and back every day?
In the meantime let your concern be heard and please vote:

Many thanks to the Bowens for posting this and sharing.
Best, Vanessa
