"Seeking the Crescent" opens on First Friday, April 4 at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences' Nature Art Gallery with an opening reception for the artist from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Gallery sells original, nature-inspired, two and three dimensional artwork in all mediums by many of the finest artists and artisans working in the Southeast.
A new artist is featured each month.
The Gallery is located on the mezzanine level of the Museum Store on the first floor of the main Museum.
All artwork is for sale and Museum members receive a 10% discount.
Sales directly support Museum research, exhibits and programs.

Town Hall Meeting in City Council District C Set For May 8
Raleigh residents in City Council District C are invited to a town hall meeting on Thursday, May 8, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at John Chavis Community Center, 505 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard.
District C City Council Member Eugene Weeks will host the town hall meeting to discuss issues of importance to both the district and the city overall. District C covers the south and east quadrants of Raleigh. City Manager Ruffin Hall and some City department heads will be attending to respond to any questions submitted by citizens.
