Stolen puppies

My neighbor on Donnelly called me just now. Her 2 puppies were stolen from her backyard today. They are 2 male pit bulls, brown with small white patches on their heads. She called the police. We suspect it was someone living in the apartments on Hampstead off Milburnie. Her property backs up to the apartments and people have cut thru her yard before and she said she sees a guy hanging out a lot and maybe he was watching her house. If you see these 2 puppies, CALL THE POLICE. I just got our neighbors numbers last week after our meeting and I'm so thankful she called me. Please look out for these dogs...I'm sick of having thieves and criminals for neighbors.

2 pit puppies

Good morning, While walking we ran into two tan and white puppy pits greet us for the walk no one around so they followed us and we put them in the back yard of my listing at 904 Brighton Rd. Called the animal control and so if you know who they belong to call animal control and let them know you retrieved them. Break-in at 2433 Stevens Rd

Holly and I left the living room, turned off all the lights, and went to bed at 12:30 and I've been sitting in bed doing some work since then. I got out of bed when I heard loud knocking on the door at 2:45am. It was a Raleigh PD officer who wanted to know if I'd heard anything, etc. The house next door to mine (new renter) had gotten broken into between 4:30pm and 2:45am (430 is when the girl left for work). I told the officer that we actually heard nothing suspicious (and neither did our dogs). I went over to their front yard and the girl (I think her name is Corrina -- this was the first time I met her though Holly has met her before) told me that they broke into the house by breaking the back door glass and then turned the door handle and they'd taken everything-- tv, other electronics, engagement ring, etc. She has a cat. I assume uninjured, she didn't say otherwise. This both figuratively and literally hit much closer to home than the other burglaries. We feel like there's something we could have done if only we'd heard something, and it's particularly frustrating. Even more anger-inducing is that we didn't hear anything out of place. If you haven't already written down the serial numbers of all your electronics, do so immediately. -- Zombies:Brains :: Me:Data

I can tell you that the school itself never felt threatened - the lockdown was meant to insure that no one could access the school until the police notified us that the neighborhood was secure. It was just a precautionary measure, and never really affected the student's day except that they could not transition outside. The hardest thing was when parents were insisting that they pick up one of the students - Wake County is firm in that no one is allowed in or out of the building during a lockdown. That is solely for the protection of the students. We would often have parents standing in front of the building at Ligon while there was a situation in the neighborhood - THAT made me fearful for THEIR safety, but I never felt the students were in danger. Firstly, don't blame yourself. Second, SERIOUSLY this is getting out of hand. ANOTHER break in! This is what? Nearly a dozen ?? How did no one see someone loading up TVs? I've said it before, we NEED more police presence in Longview. 2 of our neighbors were robbed, one in the same fashion as your neighbor. People saw the perps and NO. ONE. Called the cops. Its ridiculous. Jillian is home a lot gardening and whatnot and she says she never sees any cop cars riding down Milburnie. I'm sorry about your neighbor...again, don't blame yourself, we just really need to catch the scum bags who are terrorizing our neighborhood and get them locked up.
