Western North Carolina artist Dale McEntire says his new exhibition, "Seeking the Crescent," is pure and beautiful and believes that there is an essential quality in nature that has a spiritual essence. "Seeking the Crescent" opens on First Friday, April 4 at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences' Nature Art Gallery with an opening reception for the artist from 6 to 8 p.m.

Hanging Rock and Pettigrew State Parks have recently been added to the selection of images now for sale. These are highly collectible, excellent quality giclee prints and all proceeds benefit NC State Parks.

The Gallery sells original, nature-inspired, two and three dimensional artwork in all mediums by many of the finest artists and artisans working in the Southeast. A new artist is featured each month.
The Gallery is located on the mezzanine level of the Museum Store on the first floor of the main Museum. All artwork is for sale and Museum members receive a 10% discount. Sales directly support Museum research, exhibits and programs.

MONDAY-SATURDAY
9 am - 5 pm, except Thursdays when we are open until 7pm
SUNDAY
noon - 5 pm
FIRST FRIDAYS
until 9 pm
