hot weather

Hi neighbors, I was just looking at the extended forecast (I realize I'm probably the last person in Raleigh to do so) and it looks like we're going to have some unbearable weather for the next four or five days. Everyone, please be careful! - *Stay hydrated* - drink PLENTY of *WATER *daily. Even if you think you're not sweating, you probably are and dehydration is not fun (and it can be very dangerous). - *Stay out of the sun*. Become a shade seeker! - If you are able, please remember to *check on your sick and/or elderly neighbors*. I know that there are quite a few people with window units for A/C and sometimes in extreme heat those aren't enough. If you are able, maybe you could invite neighbors over to stay cool. I'll start the invitation - anyone is welcome to come hang out with us in the heat of the day! (We don't have many amenities, but we do have central air!) - Also remember to *keep pets cool* and if you have a birdbath, please try to keep water in it.
