Thanks Ginger I hadn't seen that. I'm usually home during the day because of my schedule so I will keep my eyes open. Luckily the dogs are very good at spotting people and making me keenly aware of their presence. It's their job, and Kaya is an over achiever.

--Did everyone see this? I saw it on Facebook just now:Brian McFadden (No. King Chas.): I don't mean to freak y'all out but i wanted to give you a heads up..there have been 8 break-ins in our neighborhood in the last 13 days. i interrupted a break in at my home Tuesday morning. Black male early teens rang doorbell, i did not answer. next thing i knew he had ridden his bike around the back of my house and was trying to look in bedroom window. i chased him off wielding a large baseball bat , screaming and cursing. However, my neighbor 's home across the street was broken into . The kid i ran off was around 5'6' , short hair in dreads, dark colored bike. I didn't see a knapsack or bag. He was seen by other neighbors riding up and down the street...casing the homes. According to police, these break ins are happening during the day..the perps are looking for money, jewelry, small electronics, etc.--Someone named Matt Horton (309 Lord Berkely) also commented that his house was broken into the same day. He said the perps got a "9mm out of box" a Mac Book Pro and some other stuff. So, a 9mm is a gun, right? Awesome.Brian's episode happened at 11am on Tuesday, Matt's was after 11. Everyone who works from home, please be on the lookout and be prepared to call the cops. Both Brian and Matt reported it, but apparently we need to be extra vigilant.Dog walkers, be vigilant too! I would recommend taking your phones with you so you can call 911 if you see anything/anyone suspicious. I will do just that.Ginger2319 Stevens Rd.Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught, will we realize that we cannot eat money.
~ 19th century Cree saying
Hasta que el último árbol sea cortado, hasta que el último río sea contaminado, hasta que el último pescado sea atrapado; solo entonces nos daremos cuenta que el dinero no se puede comer.
