Subject: [East-CAC] YWCA petition

Dear Friends,

For decades the YWCA on Hargett St had been an unsung hero, with many programs to benefit the community. As I'm sure many of you know, this week--with no warning to staff or its clientele--it closed. The local community had no idea of its financial situation until it was too late. It is too important an asset to our community to allow it to implode without trying to save it.
