We as neighbors need to figure out what we can do to combat this. I know we&#39;ve got the neighborhood watch, but what else can we do? There have to be more aggressive steps we can take to get the violence out of our neighborhood. I recently asked police to step up patrols on my street due to some drug-related activity I&#39;ve seen just in the last few weeks.<br>

Just now - <div><br></div><div>Full round of shots fired.  Was SO loud, I knew it had to be close.  Seconds later, I saw two dudes jump the fence from 2304/2308 Milburnie into the yard of 2335 Stevens.  Both were young black men, one had shoulder-length dreadlocks.  They turned and ran down Stevens Road, toward Chatham.<div>


<br></div><div>I called 911, and saw another neighbor doing what I assume was the same thing.  Police came within minutes, but the suspects were long gone.  </div><div><br></div><div>This is too close for me.  Shots were fired at this same location, what, two-three months ago?  Just seems like things are getting worse.  Not sure how much longer I want to stay.<span><font color="#888888"><br clear="all">
