OMG! Delivery guy indeed. I'd never have thought these (and frequent) criminal
activities happen around here like that. Although, please forgive me; coming from NY I am
mostly oblivious until the robberies began stirring fear just weeks ago. I lived in NY
for more than 22 years and have never encountered such in my neighborhood. Especially
after gentrification; I mean although the crime was only a few blocks away, that is where
most of it stayed. I am positive though that these activities will pass and/or become
less frequent when it is realized criminal activity will not be tolerated near our homes.
Please, nobody move, that is how it will end. This neighborhood is worth every effort.

One that I noticed is not a rental, the other is more difficult, it's around the
corner from my house so all I see is the black Mercedes come down the street, go into the
cul-de-sac behind my house and leave 45-60 seconds later, I started thinking he was a
"delivery" guy when my neighbor and I saw him drive by with his overhead
interior light on counting a large amount of cash.
I'm in Victoria Place, so we do have our HOA to help with these things, too. They are
doing everything they can as well.

Heath,
Was the drug related activity happening out of a house that you noticed? If so, do we
know if the property is rented or owned? If rented, perhaps we can find and appeal to the
owner. All of you seem to be doing everything you can to reduce the crime activity on our
blocks and it seems now just a matter of time.

We as neighbors need to figure out what we can do to combat this. I know we've got the
neighborhood watch, but what else can we do? There have to be more aggressive steps we can
take to get the violence out of our neighborhood. I recently asked police to step up
patrols on my street due to some drug-related activity I've seen just in the last few
weeks.

Full round of shots fired. Was SO loud, I knew it had to be close. Seconds later, I saw
two dudes jump the fence from 2304/2308 Milburnie into the yard of 2335 Stevens. Both
were young black men, one had shoulder-length dreadlocks. They turned and ran down
Stevens Road, toward Chatham.
I called 911, and saw another neighbor doing what I assume was the same thing. Police
came within minutes, but the suspects were long gone.
This is too close for me. Shots were fired at this same location, what, two-three months
ago? Just seems like things are getting worse. Not sure how much longer I want to stay.
