The cleanup went well. We removed around 10 bags of trash from the stream. Notable garbage included a large number of baseballs in various states of decay behind the baseball field (duh) and four tiki torches. The rest of the trash, as you would expect, was plastic bottles and Styrofoam fast-food containers. I posted a few photos on the Facebook page for everyone enjoyment: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.406838399332942&type=1

Turnout was poor on both sides (7 total), but I think we established the foundation for future cooperation and partnerships with the group.

Several of you expressed regret about not being able to participate due to the time of day (business hours). The Enloe students had the same problem (needed to happen immediately after school). I think there is great potential that can come from working with Enloe on issues like this and I hope in the future we can workout a more reasonable and accommodating time for all parties.

I was hoping to get out of work to help, but a conference call crept up and reared its ugly head at that time. How did it go?
