Debbie, I am sending this to
you to share with the ECAC. Many have a historic
designation now and may be interested in attending. Thank
you. Sue Click the link below to sign up
for tickets, as many as you need.Subject: RHDC Hearing Dear Preservationist; The city is
holding public hearings to
discuss revamping of the Raleigh Historic Development
Commission and guidelines. They have not done a lot of
advertising and one of our neighbors saw the below
announcement. They have decided they are issuing
"tickets" to get an idea of how many people will
attend. The actual hearing is on September 22. You
can enter the number of tickets you want and your email and
the program will email you all the tickets you want. Also,
you can let me know and I will get some for
you. We believe, for a couple of reasons, that the
city may be trying to stack the deck in favor of
the opposition, so please come if you can and bring any
others who are concerned about our historic and older
neighborhoods with you. You can get as many tickets as you
want, and they are free. Thanks GailBelow is the link to the
ticket program. When it opens, click on the green
"register" button. Please RSVP to our "Design
Guidelines Event: Sept 22" to ensure adequate space and
supplies
