Hey Emrys,
Yes, I did get an email yesterday and the person who sent it didn't know what I was talking about. She said to call the City and I haven't done that yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

Hi All,

The trailing message contains the City's most recent reply regarding our interest in Longview Branch.  I will try to connect with the contacts at Enloe, perhaps some of you know these folks already.  Also, the City is still working out what they might be able to offer with respect to trash cans.

Ginger,

Did you ever hear back from the North Central CAC about the trash cans installed around St. Augs.?

Hi Emrys,

I’ve been in touch with Alan Letarte (aletarte@wcpss.net) and Priyanka Venkannagari (venkannp@yahoo.com) at Enloe High School.  Priyanka is the service head for the National Honor Society at the school.  Alan Letarte is a math teacher with school that assists the NHS as needed.

Priyanka indicated that some of the group went to stream on the 17th, but I ‘m not sure yet (waiting on a reply) if they did any type of clean-up or just looked for signs of pollution.  In any case, you may want to contact them to see if a partnership could be formed with the East CAC.  Since the NHS is a volunteer group I’m reluctant to push too much on when a group is active.  I did remind them to send in our Field Data Sheet after a stream walk or clean-up to keep us up to date on their activities.

Priyanka gave me permission to include her email address and welcomes your contact with her regarding the stream.

I hope this is helpful.  Please let me know how things workout with the NHS and the East CAC
