To: Date: Friday, September 26, 2014, 10:22 AM Good morning, WakeUP Wake County is co-hosting a candidate meet-and-greet on Oct. 9th at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh on Wade Avenue.  We would really appreciate it if you could publicize this with your CAC members (flyer attached).  The event will be from 7-9pm and we’ve invited candidates running for County Commission, Sheriff, Soil and Water Conservation District, and Clerk of Court for Wake County.  The event will start with a social time, then each candidate will have a few minutes to speak about themselves, and the last half hour will be open for audience questions for the candidates. We hope that your members will take this opportunity to come meet the people running for local office and ask them some questions!
