Hi everyone,
Phil Poe brought to my attention recently that there's a primer book on the
Board of Adjustment. The Community Services Department may be interested in
ordering copies for chairs to reference. Is anyone interested in getting a
copy?
They're fairly inexpensive--$17 a piece. I imagine they would be paid for
out of our $15K annual budget. Let me know.

Hello CAC Chairs,
Just a reminder for the upcoming Neighborhood Recognition Awards. Here are the specifics:
• Please turn in your CAC’s nomination* at or before the next RCAC meeting September 16th.
• Please include any photos or notify Dwayne so he can arrange to take some for the presentation.
• The awards banquet will be held October 21st, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Raleigh Convention Center.
• A reception with light refreshments will be held starting at 6:00pm.
I have attached the finalized form, please contact Community Services if you cannot download.
Remember, this is an opportunity to acknowledge the work done by others in your CAC to improve your area’s quality of life, so let’s show them how much we care and appreciate their contribution.
Thank you for all your do in making this annual event such a great success!
Regards,
Mark Vander Borgh

Hi folks,
As the subject would indicate, we're taking the month of August off, so no
meeting tonight. Please send any items you would like on next month's
agenda to me, Alan or Lonnette.
See you in September...enjoy the rest of summer!
Ana
FYI...sounds like a worthwhile non-partisan event.

Dear Members of the Raleigh City Council,
At the July meeting of the Raleigh Citizens’ Advisory Council, the chairs
agreed that a document should be compiled to summarize broader concerns
expressed among the CACs regarding the Draft 2030 Comprehensive Plan. The
comments are summarized in the attached document. We respectfully ask that
you consider these comments as you discuss approval of the Draft Plan.
Sincerely,
Ana Duncan Pardo
