Today, NIFA announced a new program that pulls together funds from AMS,
APHIS, FNS, FS, and NRCS. NIFA’s role is to compete and administer the
program under the leadership of Tom Bewick. There is a short turnaround
time in order to get the program competed and the funds obligated this
year. I’d like to encourage you to send the following announcement to any
interested parties that you are aware of. The eligibility is quite broad.
The announcement has already gone to the ALL PARTNERSHIP list-serve. You’ll
note mention of a teleconference for potential applicants that will be held
next Thursday, August 4. If you have any questions, please direct them to
Tom. Thank you for your help in getting the word out!****

Hello fellow CAC chairs,
Does anyone use meetup to promote their upcoming CAC meetings?
I've been thinking about putting SWCAC on meetup.com to try and attract
more attendee's to our meeting. Thoughts?
Jason

Thanks for sending an updated version of the handbook. Two comments:
* Our vision: did we agree to this vision: "To perfect the citizen
experience"? If so, I'm sorry to have missed the discussion about it.
I'm not in favor of perfecting the citizen experience at the expense of
future generations of citizens or of the environment.
* Formatting: The handbook seems to be formatted to for a PowerPoint
presentation, making it 29 pages long. I'd recommend formatting it so it
takes less paper to print. An easy way to do this might be to leave the
first section in PowerPoint style and revert the pages from 13 back into
a more typical printed document.
I'd like to take several copies to my next CAC meeting to interest new
leaders.

RCAC Members,
Per Will Allen's recommendation, please find attached a copy of the
latest edition of the RCAC Handbook. This version contains the input we
have garnered since the June meeting. Our intent is for this to be a
live document and we will update as new information is presented and
voted upon by the group for inclusion. Please save this document to you
personal system for future use. We will also have this posted to the
web in the RCAC area of content.
If you desire a printed copy, please let me know and I'll bring a copy
tonight or place one in the mail. Thanks.

Hello Carmalee,
I received the following message when I try to take the bus transit
survey from either the email I received from Dwayne Patterson or from
the city's website.
"We're sorry. You have already taken this survey."
To my knowledge, I haven't taken this survey.
