I second Patrick's request--our award recipient will also be bringing his two school-age children to the ceremony.

Hey, Mark, wondering if you can move the order around and put the individuals first. In our CAC, the award is to an individual who has school age children who will attend the ceremony. They will be there for the award to see their mother recognized. I am sure they would stay for part of the remaining awards, but she does need to leave to get them all in bed --- it is a school night. If you can make this change I think that would be very helpful .Patrick Martin, Six Forks CAC-----Original Message-----

Subject: [RCAC] Awards update
Ok Folks, things are coming together for the Recognition Awards next Wednesday the 21st. Attached is a draft agenda. We will probably move few individuals around to accommodate the award recipients but this is the basic structure. Instead of going alphabetically by CACs we will be handing out award in categories There are 4 categories 1. Institutions and Non-profits 2. Residential and Small Business Properties 3. Grassroots 4 Individuals As in years past, I am expecting the CAC chair or a representative to introduce their award recipient. If you cannot do so, please send me a written introduction and I will fill in. Please RSVP to Debbie Puckett <Debbie.puckett@ci.raleigh.nc.us> if you have not done so already. Everyone is more than welcome, and encouraged, to join us if they have not RSVP'ed but we would like to get some idea of those who know they will be there.
