I
think that every CAC should have a BOA primer (or have access to one on-line) and
enough folks have responded to suggest that appears to be the general consensus.
Since
this is resource that should be available whenever anyone needs it, can I
assume that the primer is specific about Raleigh’s BOA & Raleigh’s
regulations? If so did we (Raleigh) write the primer and therefore own
copyright (if not it might be a good exercise for the city to do for many
reasons)? If it is Raleigh’s primer (like the 2030 Comp Plan), this
is a publication that I would rather have on line and therefore could be easily
shared with all our citizens as the need arises.
So
do we ‘own’ this primer, is it already on-line? If so on-line
access works for best me. But it would also be useful for each CAC Chair to
have a hard copy for their citizens that are not on-line.
Regards,
Bill

Hi everyone,
Phil Poe brought to my attention recently that there's a primer book on the
Board of Adjustment. The Community Services Department may be interested
in ordering copies for chairs to reference. Is anyone interested in
getting a copy?
They're fairly inexpensive--$17 a piece. I imagine they would be paid for
out of our $15K annual budget. Let me know.
