I reported a light out on Wake Forest between Sasser and Franklin, pole number HG 12 BK, a couple weeks ago online then again about a week later on the phone. I haven't run that stretch after dark since then to see if it is still out. The person on the phone said there might be bigger problems than can be fixed in a day with that light but couldn't say for sure. The one other time I reported a light out four years ago it was fixed the next day. We did talk about how to report out or malfunctioning street lights in our last CAC meeting and the information has been included in our newsletters. It's been several weeks since I reported a number of lights out and all but one have been ignored. If action is not taken soon, I intend to bring up to Council that the city is paying for streetlights that are not functioning.
