LIKELY HOT TOPICS: * R-6 Districts. Some. Councilors are questioning the exclusion of townhomes from the Residential-6 (R-6) zoning district. The proposed reduction in R-6 lot sizes from 7,260 to 6,000 square feet, combined with the current build-out of established neighborhoods, could become a catalyst for teardowns. The inclusion of townhomes in an R-6 district would also limit the choices for single unit neighborhoods to three (3) districts--R1, R-2 and R-4.
