website where you can enter your project and make your request for
volunteers:

From Trey Mullikin (Service Raleigh,

What: The 14th Annual Service Raleigh
When: March 26, 2011 from 9:30-2:00
Where: Any worksite within 25 minutes of the NCSU main campus.
How: We will send a group of volunteers to your worksite with the goal of
having them finish your project in 4 hours time.
For over 10 years, students of NC State University have come
together with volunteers from the community to provide a day of service to
the Raleigh area. We are currently in the process of recruiting partner
organizations and their service projects. Projects in the past have
included such tasks as planting trees, picking up litter along a lake, and
organizing a food pantry. Service Raleigh targets non-profit organizations
that serve Raleigh year-round and public entities such as schools and parks.
If your organization has a need that can be met by a group of
volunteers on March 26th please register at
www.serviceraleigh.org under the
Projects link. All that we ask in return is that your organization provides
all tools and supplies needed to tackle your project. Also if at all
possible, we strongly encourage our Partner organizations to supply their
volunteers with a very basic lunch. Thank you for your time, and we hope to
see you on March 26!
