We're trying to recruit a new chair and secretary for the Glenwood CAC and
would love to be able to refer people to an up-to-date Guide to
Participating the
RCAC<http://www.raleighnc.gov/content/CommServices/Documents/RCAC/GuideT…df>.
Will Allen, didn't you take over maintaining the guide after our retreat to
refine and extend my original straw document? If you don't have time to do
it now, perhaps someone else could update it to show the 2013 dates and the
current number of CACs.
New RCAC members, if you weren't aware of this guide, it may be worth a
look even though the information in it is about two years old.
Please refer any good leadership candidates who live in the Glenwood CAC
area to Richard Bostic, who is leading the nominating committee and who
will be staying on as vice chair.

Thank you for bringing this up. We discussed the guide briefly at last
night's RCAC meeting and agreed to put it on a future agenda, perhaps as
early as March if time permits (February's retreat will take the place of
our regular monthly meeting).
I believe that the guide was put online as a live document that we'd all
have access to and could suggest updates to as opposed to any one of us
being responsible for updates.
Dwayne, would you please update the online document with the attached 2013
RCAC map and see if other references need also be updated? That should make
the existing document relevant and useful until we can focus on it later
this year.

Thanks Will and RCAC members for discussing this topic last night.
Please consider the possibility that if all of us are responsible for
reviewing the document and suggesting updates, then no one will do it. The
key updates are to the dates of our meetings and retreat and, recently, the
number of CACs. Perhaps this could be a responsibility of the officer who
is in charge of welcoming new members.
